I think one of the reasons he went to jail was because he was being charged under new anti-terrorism laws. There may be another one of these "person with laser blinds police helicopter pilot" in the next couple of months

First, you shine it at a POLICE copter, with cameras and recording video. FAIL
Second, you do it from your own back yard = Double FAIL
Third, you did it "at least 10 times" = Practically inviting them to arrest you

Amateur criminals should be locked up with other amateurs, maybe then Darwinian selection can occur.

The laser diodes can be found in dvd burners so there's not really much you can do to prevent the laser pens being sold. I've seen more powerful ones burn straight through a tree.

nope im not an odp, are you a paramedic or something? intubation practice? i know they have to practice regularly. im a Staff nurse, i used to do anaesthetics and recovery, mainly recovery, but now work in cardiac intensive care.
