After reading the 2 threads about UK cinema chains going under, I noticed a lot of the posters in those threads (and maybe this sub-forum) don't actually go to the cinema that often, for a variety of reasons.

Don't need to list why you don't go, when you went, or rate the film, or other commentary, unless you really feel the need! (plenty of other threads covering those things!)

Next:
MI:7

Last 3:
1) Indy 5
2) Across the Spider-verse
3) The Flash

Genuinely don't think I can remember the last three

Top Gun Maverick was the last one, I can't remember what it would have been before that, it was probably near enough 10 years ago now. Maybe one of the Daniel Craig Bond films.

As for next - no idea, no firm plans. Looked at Oppenheimer briefly off the back of one of the threads earlier but the available showtimes local to me in a 'decent' screen aren't at convenient times, so probably won't bother.

Next - MI7 of course!

Last 3 - bear in mind this was with my son:

1) Elemental
2) Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken
3) Super Mario Bros

Last 3 I saw for myself:

1) Super Mario Bros
2) John Wick 4
3) 65

Not very many since we moved 11 miles away from the Cinema

Next (tomorrow):
MI:7

Last 3:
1) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3
2) John Wick: Chapter IV
3) Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

It doesn't really help that a lot of the movies become available to 'rent' in 4K Dolby Vision with Atmos Surround sound within 4-5 weeks of a movie being released theatrically.

Were those two any good / worth a watch? Hadn’t heard any personal reviews so not sure what to make of them.

Last 3..
Guardians 3
Avatar 2
DnD

Next...

Nothing on the radar at the moment

We get 6 cinema vouchers a year through lloyds. And that's about enough! That's how bad cinema is at the moment

Am tempted by Oppenheimer. But not sure I'm tempted enough to use a ticket!

Elemental is standard Pixar fare, overcoming differences, great animation, moments hitting the feels and done well. As for the Kraken, I can see why it's flopped so badly, lad liked it though and that's what matters.
