Hello all,

Me and a few mates have decided to go on a little road trip to Blackpool one weekend in a few weeks. I know we've left it late but I was wondering where you guys have stayed and if you know they let a group of 4 or so lads in.

We're only after the basics to be honest, nothing fancy. Obviously the cheaper the better, but we still want value for money. Nothing dirty or resembles a horror movie.

Anything like a name or address, even a phone number would be a bonus. I don't mind doing the leg work :)

I stay away a lot and book via www.laterooms.com usually. Ive booked rooms half an hour before arrival before when working away and suddenly changing my mind about staying away.

Just type in the town and loads will come up. Group of lads wont matter with hotels unless they are very small B&B's etc where they may have an issue.
 
I recommend the Oakland Hotel, 61 Holmfield Road.

My stag weekend last year was based there. IIRC the rooms were £12pp per night (so I was told) in July, which included a big ol' fry up in the morning. The landlord is an Elvis fan and it shows :D . Quite near to the town centre and other bits.

It appears that the Oakland is more expensive than I was told. Still, I recommend it purely from the Elvis fan type dude amusement value. :D
