Last minute uni work!

I remember at college doing Computing. AS level and we were sat in the lab wasting time pretending to be programming our project when the teacher came in and said "When you have all written up your documentation you can put it in the green box under the pidgeon holes"

someone: "when's it due sir?"

teacher: "you should know this, it's next week"

whole class: "oh ffffff......iddlesticks!"

3 very late nights writing up all the documentation for my proggy! 100 pages.

Funny thing is at A2 Level pretty much the same thing happened again. It came so close to the wire for me that I had to post one section of my documentation direct to my teachers house :p

Still, can't have done too badly - bagged me an A :D

All my assignments had to be handed in on Dec 14th. I had some very late nights for a few weeks before that trying to get them done! I've also enjoyed the Christmas holiday too much and only just started revising for my exams. I have a music practical on Wednesday and I have no idea what i'm doing for it! I've also got 2 x 2000 word essays to remember for my exam on Thu which I just finished writing today. I'll worry about the other exam after that :p

I have my first A2 exams in about 2 weeks, so I've done a bit of revision in the last few days but not really into gear properly yet.

I am sure you'll still be up :p

2000 was is easy if you had done the reading and research, but if you are just starting from scratch then it'll be a mission. 9 hours left, how mnay words have you done?

lol for tommorow and you made this thread at what, 10?

:p

I had a complete composition (music student), analytical essay and essay to do in 3 days when I got back from home on Monday :o

Hey all,
I'm not doing too badly although I completely changed my direction after about 400 words.

Thankfully I can work under pressure, although I know if i'd done this earlier it would come a little more concise than it is now.

I must do essays earlier. I must do essays earlier.
I must do essays earlier. I must do essays earlier.
I must do essays earlier. ...

I see by your post count that you are 5 posts away from becoming a Wise guy and gaining a new avatar. You should definitely spend more time on OcUK this evening to try and get this, rather than doing your unimportant essay.

Quoted for truth. Get the new ava, then do the work, its way more important!

I've got 2 acousmatic compositions to hand in on the 12th, and a video for one of them. Needless to say I've done nothing for those either :( .

Now see I would disagree with this, GCSE I could easily do in a few hours, A-Level, now that requires more research and more in depth writing, I would use to write about 10,000 words and it would take me about 2 x 8 hour days. Now uni is a whole different kettle of fish, sure you only write 2000 words max but the amount of research you have to do takes hours..... especialy when everyone else has the same books out as you need :o

Yeah, I suppose so. :p

How did you manage to write a 1000 word paragraph? That's must be around 2 pages in word :D

I think I got carried away. (I might have done it twice, if I remember correctly.
