Last of US Part 2 for PC?

Surprisingly this game doesn't suffer from the softening often caused by the internal TAA which is always active in many games. This is really good stuff with this engine.

Quality game.

But many people slated it as being "woke"
Has it already been 5 years? Blimey

All the negative coverage for this on its PS4 release is where gamers criticisms really started going off the rails for me.

First there were leaks, and people were so "outraged" by discovering important plot points without even playing the game, and then they just started trying to spoil it for everyone else who was trying to avoid the same leaks.

Then people were so angry about the Abby character. The fact she had muscles in a post-apocalyptic setting (even though she was part of the very well organised WLF) and then the whole lesbian storyline with Ellie, even though that had been established in the previous game DLC.

The game definitely got harshly and unfairly criticised by a lot of gamers who just couldn't deal with the direction the story went.

It's very interesting reading people's opinions of the game/plot now it's on PC. There's none of the outrage from 5 years ago. Without all that baggage, people are just enjoying it for the excellent game that it is.

Sony games have always been very good for their TAA method.

Had to reduce the sharpness to 0 from 5 though as it was over sharpening.

I don't mind the sharpening bit. But not using HDR... what the absolute...
Not for me personally. Just looks awful especially with foliage. It was one of the reasons fsr 1-3 was so bad, it just enhanced artifacts that were already in the native image :o

The only 'downer' with this game that I have found is the mouse aiming/sensitivity issue. Steam forum and Reddit are filled with people having the same issue with mouse deadzone and general sensitivity issue - especially with aiming. There are quite a few supposed fixes out there but from what I can gather none of them really solve the problem. I am thoroughly enjoying the game so far but have found some parts an emotional rollercoaster ride.

The inner deadzone for the mouse is set way too high yes, and there's no setting in the menu to change that, so that means moving the mouse for slow/short adjustments like aiming is not possible until you jank the mouse more which can be distracting. the first game did not have this issue so this is a new change.

With my mouse though I got used to it, 2000Hz and the precision of the tracking is good enough to kind of work around the deadzone issue most of the time.
