Last Spec Check Till I buy

Nice rig dude. Money well spent if you ask me.

First off. THAT CASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEXY AS HELL!

The GTX570 is a capable card and will last you a good 2 or three years, infact the rig will last you for a good few years, especially the Sandy Bridge CPU.

Good job on getting the Z68 chipset board too. Having the P67 overclocking capabilities and the H67 onboard cpu graphics features in one package is the way to forward!

Your memory is a good brand and the SSD will help you get into games a hell of a lot faster than a standard SATA3 HDD.

Only things I have a problem with. First is your cooling.

Overclocking that beast of a i5 2500k cpu will need some great cooling. The Tranquillo is a great cooler, but the ThermalTake Frio is a hell of a lot better! For £8 more, you can get a cooler than will murder the Gelid Tranquillo on idle and under load. It's even the favourite cooler for AMD and Intel in the PC FORMAT and CUSTOM PC magazines. The Frio can cool anything overclocked a lot better than near enough anything else on the market. Link: http://overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-031-TT

Other concern is your mouse. I do not like the Logitech mice, its a bit too fiddly for my liking. The mouse you want to use is the Razor DeathAdder Respawn. Great mouse, fast, reliable, comfy and sexy. Link: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-001-RA&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=1257

Apart from that, a great rig and I hope to see some nice pics of it soon. ALSO THAT CASE IS FREAKIN' SEXY!

Good build.... The Tranquillo is a great cooler and should be fine. Choosing a mouse is very personal thing, I use a Deathadder mouse now, but used Logitech before and was very pleased with them!!

I wasn't saying it isn't good, but for price the Tranquillo wins.
OP, you may also want to consider liquid cooling for the cpu (just noticed where you live) :p

Take a look at : Corsair Hydro H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler @ £59.99

I'm going to get the Tranquillo. Malta is hot but inside, in summer, the temperature never goes over 26 degrees. And that is without the AC on

For me, doesn't matter how good the cooler is really, as long as it can do 4.4GHz without cooking the CPU, and quietly.

Love that case too. If I didn't have that Lian Li... Can't argue about the components. That's where my money would be (6950 toxic for me), and not in love with the PSU but it seems to deliver, I hope it does the distance.

@ Ak!ta: Thanks dude. It's an amazing case. It's the one I am looking at getting. Well my misses buying me for Xmas. Hopefully I can have it earlier xD I just love it for some reason.

@oliier renault: Coolers do matter dude. You need a good one, especially for overclocking. If you haven't got the right one, then your going to cook your CPU on gas mark 9 if you get what I mean. I have the Arctic Freezer Pro 7 Rev. 2 and got my Athlon X4 640 @ 3.5. I don't need a great cooler for my basic quad core, but for something like the i5-2500k when overclocked it will produce a lot of heat, so get something big with big fans and preferably Push/Pull.

5GHz on a DarkRock Pro is asking a lot. I would run a SilverArrow or NH-D14 for that speed. Maybe with better, noisier fans... It also depends how much juice you need to pump into the CPU.

I bet one guy was on standby with a fire extinguisher.

What I mean is, any decent cooler will deal with 4.2-4.4GHz on SB. Beyond that speed, I don't really care.
