late comer to the mmorpg thang, should I go WoW?

What he said, I play for an hour at lunchtime and around an hour at night unless my wifes working late in which case I have around 3 hours that night, she works all day Saturday so after faffing around tidying up etc I have most of the day to play it, while it's pouring with rain almost every day here it's an ideal time waster.
 
It seems I foolishly signed up to the US WoW trial account back ten day ago, canI move it to an EU/UK server? If not, can I delete my trial account as I'd like to use the username/character names over here..?

i believe that you wouldn't have been able to keep your characters even if you had an EU trial, you can keep the username but you have to start a new character.
 
i just started wow a month ago. its addictive but i dont spend my life on it. I'd say give it a go as the real game is even better than the trial as you can use email and the auction house and go over lvl 20 :p

Cheers guys, that isn't a worry then.. probably a good idea to ditch my trial characters anyway, they were a bit iffy :p

lol, my first character was a human somethingorother but my second was a tauren warrior.. much more fun ;)

this is a typical WoW player post I think.
People warned you off WoW because of the players.
Yes, you'd have to be a spacker to not like how something looked. Even if it does have great gameplay visuals still matter, as they can become annoying etc if its not suited to an individuals taste.
WoW isnt the biggest, by far, its TINY. Theres no real depth.
The PvPs pretty awful, it looks like blizzard just tried to turn it into a game of DOTA. BADLY.
Best, well thats a matter of opinion, you cant comment unless you'v played them all, and really, the community destroys WoW. WC3 was popular with cs players, then WoW came along, and it had warcraft in the name, so a hell of a lot of them moved to that too. I played them all aswell, but WoW didnt impress me, after playing other mmorpgs etc, kinda seemed pointless.
 
I've yet to play a single mmorpg game... but Pirates Of The Burning Seas will change all that!!!!!

Just waiting for my beta key now!

its a well known fact that people prefer tauren warriors :P
we are sexy, look pretty sturdy and friesian cows with braided beards? who wouldn't ...

I am a tauren warrior ... :) my GF even got me a mug with my name, class level and a photo of me sitting in a tent on it :)

I had a warrior, found it very tedious :) Tried other classes, much the same really. Most fun part of WoW - Engineering, gnomes and goblins always were hilarious.

Now thats just sad, everyone knows that Orcs pick up more chicks than anyone else, taurean warriors just make good targets for the enemy while you sneak in and ram an axe in their gullet. I mean seriously, their racial bonus is in herbalism!?! bunch of damn hippies, give me +5 axes anytime ;)

Of course this doesn't include my taurean druid :p

Hmm, I couldn't justify playing anything that short :p Do they get an aggressive racial bonus for height sensitivity? ;)

In all fairness I did meet the GF on World of warcraft .. a sexy sexy female tauren druid Mhhhh udders ... ;)

besides orc women are scary ...
