Making this thread for those who want to discuss the impact on software, for both AMD and Intel users.
Gavinh87 if you want to discuss what you tested when you did your o/c you are welcome to in this thread as well.
Primarily I am only interested in real world software usage, not synthetic benchmarks and especially not cinebench.
Increased latency I would expect to have a bigger affect than throughput in workloads where transactions/sec is important and most of those transactions are small, throughput on the other hand should have a bigger affect when isnt so many transactions and transactions are very large in terms of data size.
Most software I know utilises small transactions.
If there is any kind of reasonable interest in this thread I will try to do scientific testing between two sets of timing's on my intel machine, and between timings as well as throughput only impact testing on my ryzen rig.
