Great job looks stunning.

Never heard of the hydro PSU brand what's it like ?
Thank you very much!

It's got stellar reviews and so far it's been awesome (as much as you really can notice a PSU to be honest haha). I've always used Corsair PSUs in the past but decided to try something different for this build. You can see some of the reviews:

1. It's HW Busters top pick for 1000W PSU: https://hwbusters.com/best_picks/best-atxv3-pcie5-ready-psus-picks-hardware-busters/5/
2. HW Busters review of it: https://hwbusters.com/psus/fsp-hydro-ti-pro-1000w-psu-review/
3. Kit guru gave it an excellent review as well: https://www.kitguru.net/components/...ydro-ti-pro-1000w-titanium-2023-review/all/1/

A few more bonus pics with a colour I'm really liking at the moment, which I'm calling a "cold-blue" :)

Fantastic job mate, well done! One of the best pumps on the market too.
Thanks mate, really appreciate it! Yeah the pump is excellent, though I didn't get the leakshield variant because it would've been quite tall. But as you may know this one has a small pressure relief hole on top which makes it hard to pressure test the loop before filling. I had to use tape to get it to somewhat seal while leak testing :D

Yeah that's why i use manual G1/4 pressure relief valves so i can swap them out easily for testing. It's just far more convenient than having to faff around with tape.

Loving the "cold-blue" colour of the case, reminds me of the New Tron Film. Does your PC live on the floor? And if so how does it stay so clean?

Thank you! It does live on the floor indeed for two reasons mainly:

1) It's super heavy, I haven't weighed it but I don't think my thinish desk can handle it along with my monitors and speakers etc.
2) I have 2x 27" monitors on my desk which take up all the room

My preference would be it sits on the desk because it would make using the front panel USB a tad easier. Sadly on the RGB version of my case (i.e the one I have) doesn't support the Front I/O mount kit which the non-RGB (older) version does that lets you put it on top of the case or the rear etc.

So in short: I should get a new desk

To be honest it's not been there that long but my old PC used to sit there and I've never had issues with dust - it's on laminate floor so no carpet and I keep the dust filters on (which for me is worth the trade off for slightly lower fan performance) beyond that just keep on top of vaccuming haha

Looks really good mate. Nice run from the cpu to the gpu
Thank you mate, that run was actually born out of necessity. The GPU designated-outlet and CPU fixed-inlet aren't perfectly in line, otherwise I'd just have done one 90-degree bend. I thought a slanted line would ruin the astehtic so I had to get creative!

That looks really cool, pun intended. As has been mentioned, the run between the CPU and GPU is really elegant.

I can't help thinking that a taller reservoir would fill the space a little better, but I'd only be nit-picking and petty. Very nice.

I ended up buying the reservoir lid without a pressure release valve as I found it frustrating not being able to pressure test properly. It was my first water cooled build though so was probably a bit over cautious!

I did look at the reserviors for the same pump (I really wanted the D5 Next) but they would've been a tad too tall I think (especially as all I was finding were leakshield variants) it would've made filling and management in general a bit harder in this particular case. Next build will have a new case and atm I agree I'm feeling a bigger one. To be honest if the side fans were also paired with another Rad I'd have definitely gone with something bigger. But there's always "the next one" to keep you excited and looking forward to it (he says... 7 years later )
