Latest build

Haha thanks man, seems to be ok so far and it's not supposed to be an opaque coolant but a distilled premix. Should I be worried?

All of the vanity coolants I have ever used have gone bad. I had some Mayhems once that was pastel red and ended up maroon. Others had orange that turned brown.

That was why I now use all black tubing and clear coolant. From a maintenance perspective it is literally hassle free. Just top up every now and then.

Ah I see, yeah I've heard similar stories and those people have mostly done what you've done: Distilled water with biocide and black EPDM tubing. Which I do think looks quite nice anyway, but for my first build I decided to go "flashy" haha. I'll see how much grief it gives me and maybe go that way too in the future. I appreciate you giving me your take though mate :)

I had the white pastel, it never really went 'bad' but definitely left a film of crust on the CPU block after a year or so... I've never taken the GPU blocks apart but probably just as bad

That's comforting. I've heard mixed things from people who have had no issues and others who say it's the worst thing ever. I suppose if a film is what I end up with I'd be happy because hopefully a few flushes should clear it out without much issue
