Latest hospital appointment for beth - Not good this time at all

Jesus Skywalker. I'm genuinely gutted for you mate. All I can do is echo other posters and wish you my very best, and suggest that you make damned sure that you try to offer her the very best chance by taking her to the very best institution (finance permitting).

Good luck chap, stay strong.

Read the 1st Post and am gutted for you. You are holding up well and you need to keep strong for Beth, she's a real cutey and her cheeky smile reminds me of my youngest. I hope to see a success story re Beth soon and best wishes to all the family...

Nothing I can say on this except gutted for you. I always remember that picture smiling in the car seat.

With things like this I refuse to believe there is a god.

I hope you can have a great christams for her regardless or the worry.

Good luck to your whole family.

Thank you one and all for your comments its greatly appreciated

From what I have read the best place is in USA as they have carried out 2 operations and the first in the UK is happening in early next year

We have been refered to kings college hospital which we have been told is the best place in the country to deal with this

We have been on the TS site since april and is very good and full of info
Good news Skywalker, and like I said anytime you want to tell me to shut up you do that. Make sure you harass them for an appointment or they will just faff. Kings College is a very good hospital.

O crikey I remember this little girl from a while ago.

Sorry to hear the new Skywalker, I genuinly and sincerely hope there's good news around the corner.

Just read this thread, thats so harsh mate I'm sure no one in the world would ever want to be in your position. I wish you, Beth and your family all the best in the future and I hope everything works out well for you. :)

I can't imagine how you must be feeling, it's the sense of being powerless that would kill me.

If it's any help I had two major operations at a similar age and I can tell you I remember almost nothing about the experience apart from a few glimpses of being in hospital but nothing traumatic at all, so I wouldn't worry about that aspect of it.

My thoughts go out to you and I hope for the best.

Really sorry to hear about this, and you are of course very worried and scared. I can only advice that I feel she will be alright :) Don't ask me why but I looked at the picture of that sweet little girl and I feel she will be alright

chin up and you are doing the best for her we all know that :)
