Latest star wars game?

Hi there,

Never played any of the star wars type games before, but thought i'd give it a go.

What is the latest star wars game where you are a jedi for the pc? Is it worth getting? Would it be best playing with an xbox controller?

KOTOR 1 and 2 are meant to be the daddies never played them myself though.

Jedi Academy is the latest, still quite popular online I think.

Both Star Wars Lego (Any of them, get complete saga tho) and KOTOR 1&2 are worth playing through.

There's a new one in the pipeline at the moment called Force Unleashed which looks really nice but i think its gonna be a console only title. Blah damn console we want PC games.

i can reccomend pretty much all the latest star wars games, though there actually haven't been any in a while.

both star wars legos are really great fun on multiplayer, don't bother if playing solo imo,
kotor 1+2 very good but old,
battlefront 2 again good but old and much funner imo with a friend sat beside you.

I would even recommend Jedi knight 1 and The mysteries of the Sith add on.

if you can see past the age-ing graphics now, some of the best gaming for me ever.

If you're counting RTS, then Empire at War + Forces of Corruption is reasonably good (although Endor-size battles tend to lag a bit).

Lego star wars ain't bad, fun little romp, not exactly kotor deep or anything. Since the OP referred to using an xbox controller this might be more up your street

Am playing through KOTOR2 atm, but it doesn't work on vista out of the box... you actually have to replace a dll with an older one from kotor1. Apart from that it works fine, except it stutters a lot .

Good game tho. It's an RPG rather than actually 'using' the lightsaber etc, but the fighting animations are quite good.
