latest toy :)

The m3 is now in or near Birmingham, the s15 is in Slough near London (delivered it myself and flew home) and the black s14a is in Paris somewhere.
 
Honestly ? boring. But at times it was nice as there a turn key package. But i love the modifying, research and putting my own stamp on a car.
 
Enjoy i had a R33 V Spec some years ago 450 bhp (280 bhp standard), never got out of 2nd gear driving in traffic was a beast. Was a bit of a shock with insurance payed £27,000 for it (remember only about 100+ V spec models were ever imported and was 10 years or so ago, V Spec model had bigger inter-cooler and two rads on the back axle to cool the diff). Any way rang insurane to swap insurance (wham) £4,500 plz. Nothing i could do really already purchased the car, anyways made a few calls put wife on as main and me named down to £2,500 still **** as i was 35 then and had never made a claim.

280 bhp standard, to get to 310 bhp there was a kink in the exhaust all you had to do is run a 6 inch new pipe in to remove the kink, cheap upgrade lol.

well i am 25 and insured my first gtst at 19 for sensible money, £1200 or something.. Got a trade policy recently, my cars are listed as personal cars though, :)

Jesus my son has a 1.2 corsa and we payed £4,000 insurance on a £4,500 car for his first year still £1,400 three years on he 21

How on earth did you end up paying that much. I paid under a grand when I passed on a fiesta 1.0 ... Has new driver insurance actually got this stupid?

No i just payed the first quote, what do you think at that time all prices compared that was the cheapest, you tell me. What takes the pee is that he pulled out on a car with 4 people in it, they all claimed whip lash and there total claim was £21,000. i went ballistic with the insurance company for paying it out, but it made no difference to his following years quote, was still cheaper than previous year.

we bad here and thats a big radius from my house, which is in the middle of nowhere.

None would take my fancy unless they look well and have some good punch... so will still be 5 or 6 grand worth. I would love one on a gt3071,

Well off a few days now from work so, maybe get the thinking cap on. A replacement will have to be good for me to be tempted,
