Law to have a contract?

Its 5.6 weeks, may include bank holidays and the enforced christmas closure but it is still 5.6 weeks (pro rata).

So ile just make sure I've had 5.6 weeks before June then. :) haven't been paid for first 2 I've had. Feel like saying "if you don't sort my holiday pay out soon ile have to look for a new job" just to see his reaction but I'm stuffed if he lets me go and I don't have another job waiting lol

This is where not having anything written is a pain. He might decide the holiday year starts in January or April in which case it will be 2.33*months worked in the current holiday year. That and he could turn around and say that you are on X contracted hour per week (X being something stupidly low).

Ile say can we sort it out as my birthday is after June but in the summer time and ile want time off etc then. I feel like a slacker when I've already asked him twice but everyone is entitled to holiday

The agreement was 2 full days but I do 4/5 days a week most weeks and most reputable businesses would put your contract up

Not necessarily. That's the legal minimum - like a lot of companies they could be offering more.
