Lazy person requests cheapo PC spec

I need a new PC for work (at work) - for some reason I have to spec up some parts or something.

I have a socket 775 P4 floating around so I guess we could use that. However need everything else a PC needs for as cheap as possible.

Any ideas? Needs to be able to play at least Unreal Tournament decently

99 vintage, definitely. But something that could handle 03/04 too wouldn't be bad....

Arctic Freezer 7 Pro is a good and pretty cheap heatsink which would go nicely with that system and is fairly quiet also.

jeese! the most expensive item there is the monitor! you take that out and its a fairly decent midrange PC for sub £300, nice!

A P4, 1GB RAM and 7300 is not mid-range.

Better get one considering you'll be using a (molten) P4

Like suggested, AC7 Pro is best choice
