Lazy Sundays

Blimey some real scary comments on here.......

Mines pretty simple in context
- Wake up about 5-7ish
- Shower, shave teeth etc
- Huge mug of coffee, some toast with marmite on
- Game for 3-4 Hours
- Gym
- Maybe food (more then likely more coffee, 1 protein shake and marmite on toast)
- Game till 10ish
- Watch some Twitch/ YouTube / Netflix or TV

Standard Saturday, Sunday really?

I remember Sundays being like a lock down day, could not get anything from the shops.:(

But we also ate like kings. ;)
Fry-up for breakfast lard dripping and fried bred. Then Sunday lunch about 1-2pm, for evening tea it would be salad and sandwiches with a bit of battenberg cake for afters. :D

That is the time people used to knock on your door for a few slices of bread or a cup of sugar, not because they where down and outs but it was Sunday and you could buy sod all. :p

Nice family days that's for sure, I have very fond memories. :)

Bli may Itchy - am yow as old as me ??

Just fancy a piece of Battenberg cake right now - not had one for years.

Best was beef dripping on your bread with bit of jelly from bottom of cup

The good old days

Got up, 9:30. Played some board games. Went to the pub, played some more board games. Came home, had Sunday lunch, drank some whisky. Watched some Firefly.

Lazy Sunday is best Sunday.

Or just have one! ;)

Yeah, this is the best plan.

Seems like your wife had a nice lazy Sunday. Out of that horrific list above it seems she had a nap and watched mad max. I'm sure there's more to it such as she did most of that stuff the day before,so it's your turn etc. but from judging a book by its cover that doesn't seem very balanced.

You admit you don't know the full story and then go on to assume she just sat around on her backside. OCUK logic! :D

Our Sundays consist of;

- Staying in bed an hour or two longer than we would in the week.
- Breakfast made, something with eggs and bacon usually, perhaps with a bagel. All the while listening to music, be it via Bluetooth or vinyl.
- Maybe an hour or two gaming in the morning/early afternoon, or watch a film/blast through a few episodes of whatever series we are watching.
- Get showered and then go do the weekly food shop. Perhaps visit parents on the way.
- Come back and grab some lunch, chill out in front of the TV again.
- Workout.
- Clean flat.
- Read/listen to music/browse interwebs.
- Revision if I'm doing a course (3 months on, 3 months off throughout the year).
- Cook dinner, usually a curry or a seafood dish.
- Perhaps another film/gaming session.
- Prepare lunches for the next day.

They seem to go so quickly!

I seem to spend every Sunday contemplating home diy house maintenance up until around 4 ish then say oh well the shops are shut now then go out on the m/cycle for a couple of hours.
The rest is frantically washing/drying/ironing work clothes at midnight.

My day yesterday consisted of sleeping till 3pm after nodding off just after 10pm on Saturday, who says crap sleep won't catch up with you eventually!

I then ran the hoover round, changed the bed and done some sort of tidying of my room which now looks like a slightly more organised bombsite and went back to bed.

It was almost like I was back in the days where I worked till 7/8am Sunday morning then spent all day in bed.
