I'm in the process of having a new case put together and it appears I have a fair amount of space spare just where I think an lcd display would look kinda funky.

Its a custom front panel on the case, no space for anything mounted so the display would either have to be unmounted (ie not in a 5.25 blanking plate) or able to be pulled apart easily.

Has to be green on black or perhaps black on green, has to be usb (internal or external) and has to be able to display some useful info, like cpu speed, ram usage, temps etc.

Can you suggest anything? I'm talking about specific suggestions not "matrix orbital" because there are so many I haven't got the time or inclination to figure them out and probably get it wrong and spank £80 on what is probably quite a pricey build anyway.

Thanks!

Do you just want text or graphics too ?
The new M/O GX Typhoon range look nice and the software ( lcdstudio ) they use is free :D and dead easy to use.
But my fav is Noritake vfds , not cheap but better than any lcd in my opinion.
