LCD Projectors

Hi,

I've been tasked to find a permanantly mounted LCD projector for my company, basically I'm looking for something that will be used almost exclusivley for powerpoint, so doesn't need to be uber fantastic, but needs to do the job, with a ceiling mount.

I currently know absolutley nothing about LCD projectors, but I'm looking for a lower-spec one, and would appreciate any advice / suggestions on what to be looking for - I don't have a budget as yet, but it isn't exactly going to be sky high.

I'll answer the mounting side of things.... you should find that the majority of projectors have standard mount points underneath. This can then be attached to a "standard" bracket.

Can't answer much more... been playing around with a mate's monster Sony. (Not a projector for your workplace.... this would be overkill... )

Make sure you get a remote control with the projector if it is going to be ceiling mounted. Also think about what you are attaching to it and how. Your life is made much easier if there is a VGA or DVI connector available on the projector, otherwise you will need S-Video coming out of the PC.
