Hey guys

When it comes to PC's, I'm pretty aware of whats good and whats not. But when it comes to TVs, this is where I'm quite ignorant.

Basically, I'm looking to buy a TV for my room and we're gonna wall-mount it above my computer monitor, and have my PS3 in here so that I don't have to bugger off my parents whenever I play it on the flash HDTV. Thing is though I'm not entirely sure what is a good make, small details and things like that, so I came here to see if you guys could help me out :)

I'm looking for a Full HD 1080p LCD TV in either 32" or 37" (not really sure yet, something to do with viewing distance I heard, if someone could explain that to me :p ). My budget is ideally £550, will stretch to £600 if it's really worth it but no more than that. The main use for this TV would be to set my PS3 up on it, such as playing games in 1080p and watching Blu-ray films. Although I reckon we'll get an extension from the SkyHD box so that I can watch Sky on that TV. And I wouldn't mind setting up my computer on it (but then again that really only needs an HDMI cable with these modern graphics cards) in the near future.

That's pretty much it, I have a Partnership discount card with John Lewis so I could get a discount from them if you guys see anything on there, and I've got a RicherSounds store not too far from me, Currys along with that. In case that helps anyone :)

Cheers guys!

@AnastieByte

I think i've convinced myself to go for a 37" TV as I know I'll bitch to myself about getting something smaller than what I can afford :P But I did look up the 37" model of that Samsung and it really is cheap, heard good reviews about it as well so that's definitely on the list! As for the LG, I'll pass on that option ;)

@Bonjour

I could only find a 32" model of that TV, the 37" isn't in production anymore, not even on Sony's website. Thanks anyway though!

@Azra

That Panasonic looks good! I think I'll pass on the Sony because I've noticed they're a lot more expensive than other TVs, not sure if it's really worth it!

Thanks guys, I'll have a word with my dad and let you know on the situation from there ;)
