Le Mans 24 hour - 2023

That’s rubbish that the NASCAR has to drop basically to the back of the field every safety car due to it being in the invitational class. I did wonder why it was at the side of the straight earlier while all the GTs went passed it. I guess that explains it!

Missed the leading 51 Ferrari ending up in the gravel.
One of the Glickenhaus spun and blinded the 51 and he spun out...

Oh god.. and the 7 Toyota and the 66 Ferrari collide.

66 Ferrari is smouldering.

Alpine involved as well....

MAYHEM!

That was hard to work out. Did number 7 get hit? I thought the Ferrari hit an lmp2 next to it?

Edit: scratch that, it took a pretty good whack..

Looks like the 7 Toyota slowed alongside a LMP2 car, and the Ferrari came storming in and clouted one or both of them. Another LMP2 car coming in hot also caught the rear right of the Toyota

Yeah just saw it on that replay. I like Kobayashi, I hope he can get it crawling back soon.

Safety car out.

That'll be the Peugeot 1 1/2 minute lead gone. Seems Ferrari getting all the luck. I'll be honest, I'm not used to that....

So the hybrid system on the 7 Toyota is still live and requires a special team to go to the car. Could be for that. Essentially just people in thick wellies and thick rubber gloves, but they've specially prepared. ;)

It’s fine, apparently it was hardly charged.. Just draw straws as to who touches it first. Lol
