Is anyone heading to France next week to watch the Le Mans race? Heading over there with 5 friends, can't wait! Taking my 320d M sport and his Mini Cooper S, so we should have some fun on the way down too!
 
One year I'll make it. Jealous of you guys who are going. Oh well. I've managed to send my wife and 16 month old away for the weekend. I expect there will be a Sheldon-esque indentation in my sofa by the end of the race. :cool:
 
Bit confused.... what package do I need with Sky to get Euro sports? I've got Sky, HD Pack and Sky Sports but I'm not sure if I get Euro Sport.

I guess the thing to go for otherwise is the Euro Sport 'Crowd PAss' which is £5.99 for the month...

Variety bundle upwards I think, but in the past it was probably the Entertainment+ pack, can't remember off-hand.

I think it comes in the "standard" channel bundles irrespective of whether you pay for Sky Sports or not.
 
Good to see so many people are looking forward to it! I got lucky with some mates and a spare ticket, I couldn't originally afford to go. We've camping by the Porsche curves so should get a good view of the action. Going on Thusday and returning on Monday I believe. The drive down there should be half of the fun :)
 
I've paid for the pass on the WEC website as I don't have sky any more. Even if I did I'd probably still buy the pass as the adverts on Eurosport were a real annoyance last year.

I would watch your speed, the Gendarmerie are well versed in stopping lots of Brits on the way to LM and are quite happy to fine you. And they won't send you a fine in the post either, it's on the spot!
 
Was it Eurosport it was on last year?
Had to be some of the most pathetic coverage I've ever seen. Utter contempt for the viewer.
Must have watched about 14 hours of adverts, with long ad breaks sometimes happening within 5 minutes of each other. Not to mention the fact they had you hop between channel 1/2, as they needed show some football build up crap, and even a Le Mans highlight show, during the race...

I'll be looking to find coverage on the internet. That channel deserves to go bust after last year.

Check out the WEC site. It's about £8 for Le Mans coverage. Can view it on your PC and apple/android devices.

I hope the live stream is more reliable.
