Le Mans 24 hour race - 2015

Gah, the Porsche let go when I stepped away to have a poo! Good job I had my phone in my pocket. I like the way you can watch live motorsports feeds on a telephone while you're sitting on the toilet :D

That thing let go bigtime! Engine kaboom on downshifting?

Rebellion hit a Strakka, and at the same time a 911 spat its oil out, spun and caught fire at the same corner at the same time. Currently doing a spot of cleaning under safety car. :)

He might have over-revved it? Will probably be revealed soon.

Two things:
1) if the LMP cars are struggling behind the safety car in the dry, they don't stand a chance in the wet.
2) where all that oil is down on the Mulsanne chicane is going going to be devastating later in the race. They are going to have to be REALLY careful around that!

Just a little bit of drizzle needed and it'll be chaos now.

Yay! #13 Rebellion back out. I love the colour on that one.

Hmm, wonder what the rules are on using the streaming on multiple client machines. Can't find any info about it but there have to be some restrictions in place to prevent abuse. Wondering if I'll have problems trying to stream to my HTPC downstairs.

Ah found it - 5 devices.

Phone call from the other half... :(

I put all the races I'm watching in a shared calendar which syncs across to her device, but she still manages to call me in the middle of a F1 session or when something interesting is happening.

Like how you said "F1 session or when something interesting is happening" :p ;)

Yep that corner could be hell, or amazing depending on your view. What is the best site for weather. we still expecting some rain in the morning?

Did we all just hear that? The Porsches and their megalap times. Pretty sure they can't fully recover and use their full 8MJ each lap. There's a maximum amount of hybrid boost they can use on the track per lap but it's taken over a 4-lap average. Hence the ridiculous times they were putting in during qualifying followed by 3 slower laps to 'charge up'.

Yep, am loving how closely matched the Porsches and Audis are :)
