Le Mans 24 hour race - 2015

#18 is off the pace by a few seconds and the brakes aren't working as intended. Wonder if they have regeneration issues?
 
How did Chatin manage that? Hopefully he's fine, seemed to be okay, medical car at him and the safety car is out.

They can repair the cars but they have to get it back to the pits without assistance first. And that can be a heart breaker at times (like the DeltaWing).
 
He seemed to lose it under braking - it is a bit bumpy after the kink into mulsanne - and spun it before hitting the inside barrier. He should get it back now to be fixed. Not sure why the safety car is still out though.
 
Shame for that p2 car. Also, no. 40 Vette out :(

But for the rest of the race, 8 hours in and 9 seconds between positions 1 and 4!!!!!
 
Don't think so. The 18 seemed to have a problem earlier, but haven't seen that in quite a while.

The way the 17 pulled away from the Audi after the slow zone!

edit: Penalty for Mark in the 17 - infringement in the slow zone.
