Leading Nazi's Operation Last Chance!

I don't think chasing them around the world and hunting people down at this stage is going to achieve anything constructive.

should be slowly tortured to death for what he did: (if he is still alive)

He is accused of killing Jews using exceptionally cruel methods. According to Holocaust survivors, he performed operations and amputations without anaesthetic to see how much pain his victims could endure.

Injecting victims straight into the heart with petrol, water or poison were said to have been his favoured method at Mauthausen. And when he was "bored", he apparently timed patients' deaths with a stopwatch.

What are the odds its all true though? And not just rumours that where spread to the inmates via the guards and horror stories among prisoners amplifying it

Also this doesn't look like just experiments if it is though and does seam to just be for "fun".

However when people talk about the operations just to how much pain they could endure, that probably was not the real goal, just like the Japanese's did terrible things in experiments but the information they gained has saved countless more lives.

How many old white men with a German accent can there be in South Africa? I think its much too late to go on witch-hunting for this guy. The chances are some poor old bugger is going to be accused and suffer a heart-attack.

The japanese were much worse, do a search for hut 733 or something that was posted here a while ago if you think amputations were bad.

Not that what he did was acceptable, but the nazis have been destroyed, the japanese just deny what they did and largely got away free.

Punitively putting him in jail doesn't achieve anything but cost the state. He's not a danger to society, and it's unlikely that putting him in jail will prevent/deter future genocides/human experiments.

I agree he should be locked up but how much money will it cost to find him and how long will he live for? he has had over 50 years of freedom, is it worth the effort, he probably will only last a few more.

I agree. People should pay for their crimes and what he did was disgusting. Amputations without painkillers is awful, I cannot imagine how those poor people must have been feeling, both in pain and fear. :(

As awful as it sounds, and no I wouldnt want it happening to me; thats war. What about the Russians raping babies, torturing civilians to death......

Sad yes. Who was it that said that said something on the lines of "those that are the victors, get away with their crimes"

It would be about justice and punishment for his crime.

Erm. They are part of an attempted genocide that claimed the lives of over 6 million people. Think before you press submit reply.
