6 weeks ago i sent off my 9800 GX2 for RMA and as predicted its to be replaced.
Now they dont have any 9800 gx2 as they are EOL and are offerring a GTX 260.
What i need to know is is the GTX 260 the same performance wise as the 9800 GX2 and if not what is
 
If emailed their RMA advising that either a GTX 275 or GTX 280 would be more inline with the performance of the 9800 GX2
Lets see what they come back with this time.
 
i think the 9800GX2 was actually faster than the 280 in a lot of tests... despite having various other problems.

edit: woops, was meant to edit the post above.
 
Yeah, as I recall it performed very well against the 280 is some titles and quite a bit less in others, guess that's dual gpu for you, to an extent at least.
 
looks like i will be getting either a GTX 275 or a GTX 280 as they are checking availability for it.
Better than the GTX 260 they orgianally offered
 
Well ive finally got a card from Leadtek only problem is i missed the delivery and wont get it till monday.

So the question is what card have they sent me instead of the GTX260 i refused.

So whats the consensis here then considering it has teken them since the 6th Jan to replace my 9800GX2.
