Hi,

I have found an old tv card which i have installed in my Vista home prem 64bit pc, the writing on the card states that it is a leadtek winfast tv2000 xp but when i try to install the drivers by pointing the windows install app to the relevant folder that the unpacked drivers are it won't recognise any of the, i have tried loads of differant ones from the leadtek site and still have had no luck.

Any idea's?

Thanks

I’ve installed the same card on Vista 64 premium and it recognised and isstalled straight away (got the latest drivers from the Leadtek site). Although to be honest I only installed it for the remote, but still it did install no problem.

darn, it might be a dodgy card then, does it matter what driver it is as there are one's for the deluxe and expert versions?

not at home so I can't check right now, as I recall I installed the software with the driver, not just a driver have you tried that?

o.k. i still can't get it to work in Vista 64bit so now i have installed it in Windows MCE with no problems, although it won't seem to find any channels, just seems to find Virgin media sign, i think i might know what this is, On the back of the tv card there is a normal coaxial female plug (for antenna's) and a screw in cable plug, I am using just the cable that comes directly in from outside and is not from an antenna on the roof but i have it plugged into the female coax plug and not the screw in plug, Shall i get an attachement to plug this cable into the screwin socket instead as im wondering if this is why it isnt finding any channels when searching as it is looking on the screw in socket?

Do you think this could be it?
