Urgh... Really not my day today!

My CPU block decided to sprout a leak from the threads of the inlet port. On closer inspection it looks like it's been drilled off-centre so it may be a manufacture defect.

Having dried up everything I could see on my motherboard & GPU how do I go about testing everything to make sure it's all ok still? Is it just a case of stick the stock cooler on for a bit and boot it up?

can you put a picture up of the block?

I would completely strip the system apart and leave it out a day or 2 as well. What coolant are you using?

As has been said leave it to dry for a few days to be safe. I believe putting it in a cupboard with an open bag of rice and letting it dry naturally is the normal recommended advice.

I will when I've had a response from the manufacturer, I don't want to say anything in public that might compromise the RMA. I don't see how I can have overtightened it as it was only just beyond finger tight but we'll see what they say :)

I was using Mayhem's pastel. Everything seems dry now so I might leave it overnight to be sure and try it tomorrow :)
