Just wondering if anyone has done this recently, any tips?

We are planning to get a 3.8m x 2.5m Lean-To on the back of our house, I'd like underfloor matt electric heating, 600mm dwarf wall in uPVC. We won't require planning permission.

I expect it would be vastly cheaper to buy a kit from Wicks and get someone to install it for us rather than use someone like Anglian Home Improvements, but I'm clueless as to how much it would cost.

Any other questions I should be asking would be appreciated.

A cheap conservatory looks cheap, have you thought about say an oak frame with glass and oak beads?

Make sure you have the cavity trays moved if you're roof line is above the existing.

Thanks macca, I'd not come across this before.

Because all of our doors/windows are uPVC anyway I think I'd stick with that so it all matches. I agree thou, it might look a little on the cheap side.
