That's something i've ALWAYS wanted to do. It's a bit costly thoguh isn't it?

In 6 years that I've been doing it, I've probably clocked up over £15k towards it... probably more like £20k + ... :o

It depends how often you do it, how far your DZ is (mileage/costs to get there), how many foreign trips you go to, how much kit you buy yourself, how much food you buy yourself on site, how much booze you drink in the evenings, how much training you carry on doing, maintenance of kit etc... One year I did over 200 jumps - which at an average of £17 per jump (though in the states it cost me £9, and I have also done a few specialist jumps, like baloon and helicopter and other type of jumps - they cost a bit moreis already £3400 - so add travel and food, and other expenses ontop it clocks up :p Definitely worth it :D

Great stuff mate :)

A mate of mind is into Skydiving and he loves it. Turned up at work one day and said that he wanted to do one. Thought it would be one of them Idea's that never come to actually doing it lol.

Few months later, he went off and done it. He went to Lancaster iirc to do his jump. Better him than me :p Shame I couldnt be there to see it, went on holiday the Greece the same week but hopefully going with him the next time. Not to do a jump though lol. I'l keep my feet well and truely on the ground.

He plans to do one in the summer of this year again, if hes got the money. A great hobby to get into if you got the resources and time...
