Learning C

Heya's

I'm looking into learning C and would like to get some books to help me whilst I try to use what I can find on the net. The thing is I am using linux and there are bound to be some differences.

The best beginner book imo is C Primer Plus by Stephen Prata.

K&R is old and dosnt cover the latest C standards a better reference book to get imo is
C: A Reference Manual by Samuel P. Harbison.

Thanks guys going to give the ones you mentioned a look. with sooo many books about the subject its hard to pick one without the fear its going to be rubbish and teach me bad habits

C itself will teach you bad habits if you spend too long on it!
