Since I started being glued to the internet all day, I've begun reading webcomics. I love the silly humour, bright colours and...well, pretty much all of it actually. my favourites are things like: Basic Instructions, Scene Language, Dilbert, Questionable Content, Scary go Round, John Martz, Boy on a Stick and Slither, Three Panel Soul and Whiteninja.
I'm guessing that drawing stuff like this isn't comparatively difficult, but I just find that I'm a bit useless. Do you reckon it's possible to teach yourself to draw (are there decent tutorials online?), would it be better to get a teacher, or is stuff like this confined to people who are born with it? it's something I'd love to get into, but I've always been far too self-critical to get into it properly as I should imagine it's a pretty steep and long learning curve.
advice and resources are greatly appreciated. I'm looking for digital stuff rather than paper as I already have a graphics tablet and I don't have any paper!
