The truth is that anyone can draw. Being able to draw requires a lot of patience and practice
No, the truth is that you can draw and therefore you think everyone can with patience and practice which is entirely false.

All those books are BS. I tried one called 'how to draw anything', followed the guidelines for drawing people over a week, and was still no better than I started.

So what sort of program was used to make this?
This is the sort of thing I'd like to eventually be able to draw.

I suspect in your case, it's down to your attitude.
I can't draw.. But I could if I gave it enough practice.

lol a whole week...if you'd been trying to draw for a few months and still not got any better your argument might have more weight. Just sayin'.
I remember learning to draw by copying everything out of comic books
There are a ton of sites out there that have models in poses to help with anatomy and proportions.
Everyone can learn to draw like Van Gough, or learn to play the piano like Mozart, everyone can do anything that they set their mind to ....
The sick twisted miseducation of the labour generation![]()
you might have to go through masses of tenticle porn by all the anime weirdos first![]()
get a manikin from an art shop. it will teach you where the joints are and how to get natural poses. 3d doesnt matter too much with posing as you create the model and then can skin it (add the life-like textures) and put it in any pose you want. when drawing with a pencil etc you have to get this right from the start
Are you trolling? No-one is suggesting you might be able to draw like Van Gough.
Wow. I guess there is no point in trying anything then? Because you could never hope to swim as fast as Michael Phelps, or be as good a programmer as John Carmack, or write pulitzer prize winning novels.
When I was travelling I spent some time with an art teacher who recommended this book:
Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards.
I've not bought it yet though but she was singing it's praises.
