leather wallets

Hi,

I am buying leather wallets.

Supplier is advising me its PU leather.

I asked if it cattle leather or man made PU - awaiting their response.

Please advise what percentage of leather a wallet must contain in order to be classed as leather? I mean if its 50% cattle and 50% man made PU then can I call the wallet leather?

Where would I find something like that out?

Please help

I don't think you can blend plastic and leather 50/50.

It's one or the other IMO.

PU leather sounds like polyurethane leather (ie plastic) to me.

PU leather is totally synthetic, not a square millimeter of cow in it.

you can even get leather made from Fish, this is a Spotted Wolf fish
