LED Ceiling Light

Hoping someone more clued up than myself can help me out. I have two LED ceiling lights (which I've been told I'm responsible for) in the living room and one stopped working. I thought it might be the LED board but after swapping the LED driver from one to the other it seems it's the driver that has stopped working. I was hoping it'd be cheaper to just replace the driver but I can't seem to find a similar one anywhere. Can anyone help looking at the photo? Thanks.

With the same push down connections for the wires that are already in place? Any chance you could link to one like the above?

I don't think that one from eBay will work - it's specced for 12V DC output @ 2.5A but the original is 25-40V @ 450mA.

Slight risk its 28-40v

Thanks for looking guys, glad it's not just me struggling to find a replacement. I didn't expect it to be so difficult to change a light :o

With shipping it'd work out at nearly £30 for 1 so could be on par with just replacing the whole light fixture at that rate :(

Yeah it's a rented property and when I mentioned the light had stopped working I got told it was my responsibility to replace which I wouldn't have minded if it was simply a lightbulb swap. It may well have been in the contract but I couldn't tell you off the top of my head.

maybe £8 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Chanzon-Constant-Current-Lighting-Transformer/dp/B01N6U6A4E?th=1
I'd look at panel to see if 450mA is OK

I can understand having to replace sub £5 led bulbs in conventional fittings, but for more expensive kit, owner should be responsible , wear and tear

There is no information on the panel which is a pain. I'm half tempted to just replace the whole thing with the about of messing about I've done but your link does look like it might just work as long as it's easy to connect to the wires already in place.

Go to your local electric wholesaler and hand it over. Get a new one and fit it.

Probably a good idea, I was just hoping it'd be easier to buy online somewhere but seems not to be the case
