Morning,
Looking for assurance/expertise that this solution will work to dim outdoor dimmable LED bulbs.
They're fed by 2 core on a 3 pin plug, so not earthed, which joins a small transformer presumably which is marked 'AC (2Amp max) in - DC Out (480w Max)'. I know the load is around 60w max currently.
I'm aware a trailing edge dimmer is often needed to successfully dim LED's without flickering.
This fitted to a 1G surface box should fit the bill enabling me to dim them completely off. Socket and switches are indoors.
Simple enough to insert between the plug and transformer box with live & neutral in/out.
If I'm missing something obvious with my lack of knowledge please let me know!
Thanks,
BennyC
