Unless the bulb uses more power how can it be brighter than another 65w bulb? Unless it uses different tech like led hid etc but comparing halogen to halogen

By manipulating the size of the glass capsule around the filament, different mix of gases inside. They run hotter on the same power and are therefore brighter, but at the cost of reduced lifespan.

I don't have the little dome lenses, so these are reflector I think.

Still as bright as when we installed them. Overall, very pleased.

installed my Phillips Racing Vision 200% ones this morning, and I put one in, and I noticed its a little brighter than my previous Phillips Xtreme Vision 150%

i will see what these are like tomorrow morning!

Well they claim they are 130% brighter despite being 55w and in tests there are definitely brighter.

I don’t know about 130% brighter, but they throw way more crisper light than standard halogens in my Duster. Dipped beams light up the kerbs/hedges really well and the main beams just night into day for at least a hundred metres.

My dipped beam bulbs lasted 2.5 years, so at least as long as the advertised 400 hours.
