Left 4 Dead: is my connection no good for online games?

try on a fresh install with latest drivers -worth a shot.

There's no way that this could be the issue? It comes up ever time I play the game even tho I'm on the latest drivers (9.4's).

Anyway, a driver issue whould effect single player too, wouldn't it?

fully remove the driers using add/remove programs, then try again..

if you have a spare hard drive, it's worth trying a fresh install on that imo..
