Left Handed Guitar

I am thinking of buying this: Epiphone Les Paul Special 2 Lefthanded Guitar

As my first electric guitar. Im finding it hard to find Left-handed guitars and Im very uncertain about what to buy Some recommend a Cheapo others an above average etc.

I think I would like to get a decent priced guitar €2-300.
I know a lot of people I could borrow amps from so I am willing to buy a quality amp after a few months which I think would be the best route but as I said I am unsure...

What do you guys suggest?

PS: As I live in the West of Ireland it is hard to get to a good music store

That should be a nice one... or a lefty Strat. I'm a lefty too but I have no experience of the cheaper end of the market (I honestly don't mean that to sound snobbish).
Whatever you do don't listen to those cretins who'll tell you to just play righty - WE ARE SPECIAL just like Jimi, Albert, Otis etc

I'm not a fan of epihpone's so that wouldn't be my choice...

Go after a cheap lefty Ibanez or maybe a squier strat (better than epi at least...)
