I've always thought that that particular law only applied to Hackney cab drivers.

in Chester you can only shoot a welsh person with a bow and arrow inside the city walls and after midnight. In york, excluding sundays, it is perfectly legal to shoot a Scotsman with a bow and arrow.

I got arrested for this I was smashing the crap out some Swansea Derbutt with a 2 litre bottle of Strong Bow.

Its been condemned by most cultures for years, religions have mostly outlawed it and its a well-known crime here. Attempted suicide is definitely something that you can be charged with.
