To win the war on drugs, a group of everyday customs officers, untrained in espionage, were sent undercover into some of Britain’s most dangerous gangs.

Inspired by an incredible true story. Legends, coming May 7th.
 
surely they wouldnt so ordinary in reality but street wise people doing a normal customs job. if its based on a true story.

I binge watched this on Sunday/Monday, and thought it was a worth at least 8.5/10

I thought it really built up the tension nicely, and told the story well.
It'd be great if we knew what really happened
 
Up to episode 4. I wouldn't usually watch such gritty shows but it's really good. The acting is good and I feel invested in most characters storylines.
 
Last day of holiday today, was bored and this popped up. I'm not a fan of British dramas but gabe it a shot out of boredom and ended up binging the lot in one day. Hands down one of the best British dramas I've ever seen, and possibly one of the best docudramas I've seen too. Right up there with the likes of Chernobyl.

8/10 easily. Actually screw it. I'm giving it a 9.

Just finished up with E4 and so far, so good. Mylonas steals every scene he's in and generally speaking the writing, directing and acting is all of a decent standard... but there's something not quite right with the thing that makes it feel a bit low-rent at times.

And to me that's typified by scenes where characters constantly feel the need to drop legend into the conversation... stands out far too much and doesn't come across as natural dialogue.
 
Hmmm, the ending seemed too rushed, it jumped around too much after a really good slow build. Overall disappointing 5/10
 
Thoroughly enjoyed this, felt more like a show that would take the 21:00 slot on a Sunday on BBC1 after watching it, with how hit or miss Netflix shows have been of late this was a 'breath of fresh air'
 
I must be watching a different show....

Whilst I am enjoying it some elements don't work for me at all, the music does not fit the show, set in the 90's let's just shoe horn some of the most popular songs from that era in, same with the cars XR3i's all over the show, does not work at all.
All the bad dudes seem strangely suspicious of the undercover guys all the time but don't twig on.....
I'm only 3 episodes in and will finish it t but it ain't a 9/10 TV show by any stretch.
This is England is a 9/10 series and nailed just about every aspect, if you haven't watched it then I can recommend highly.

I can sort of see what you mean about the rushed end, but I didn't mind too much. Really enjoyed it despite not being my usual cuppa tea.
