David Haller, AKA Legion, is a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he's confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real.

First episode was on tonight on FX, I am gonna watch tomorrow. But I been looking forward to this one!

Not sure what to make of it, seems low budget, and might just stretch myself to watch one more EP

If he's not Prof X's son, then no thanks.

Plus, I don't believe any tv show has the budget to do Legion justice if the comics are anything to go by :p

Found it interesting but working a lot to figure out what was going on. Like Dan Stevens and the showrunner is the same guy who did Fargo so I have high hopes that this will develop really well.

If they could get a bit of X-Men crossover going on then even better.

I've never read the comics with Legion in.

As a first episode I thought it was hectic to the point of insanity, I'll decide if that's a good or bad thing after a few more.

First ep was very hard to keep track of what was going on, 2nd ep only slightly better, hoping all becomes clearer as it progresses. Can't say I'm super impressed with it just yet.

I have no idea what's happening for the most part but god damn am I enjoying the ride so far.

I'm going to wait to see how you lot go on with it.
I got about 30 mins into the first one and gave up because either a series gets me straight away or it doesn't.

The fighting but at the end of the first episode was dodgy as - not sure if it was intentional to symbolise it being something he invented or just dodgy - bad CGI/effects, running through the open with tracers going directly at them yet somehow not getting shot, soldiers just seeming to popup and shoot in a random direction like they were a garden ornament, etc.

The first episode was excellent tv. Really very good. The second was decent and progressed the story well enough. I'm in for the ride!

I'm enjoying this, it's a bit odd though! TBH, don't really have a clue what's going on :)

The blonde chick is nice and I've got a thing Aubrey Plaza ;)

Once you grasp where and when the characters actually are, i.e. in the real world or inside his mind(s) then this is one of the best shows on TV at the moment. I just wonder how far they'll go with his personalities and powers, because quite frankly Legion is basically a God.

What is going on? Trying persevere but psychlolgical dramas not really my cup of tea. Was that meant to be Shadow King in his psyche?

Wow so many negatives in this thread. Came to post expecting to already see it being lauded.

Just finished episode 4 and absolutely loving it.
Wasn't sure where it could go after the first ep, but they've managed to keep the surrealism and slightly disjointed style and make it work.

Not sure about low-budget either, it feels like a lot of work gone into the 70's sets and costumes and the music is very good too. Has a little Stranger things in it.
