Hi Guys,

Anyone own one of these or driven one? What did you think of it? Just curious as I'm considering an under-stated family horse ;)

The VR4 club's a bit biased (obviously). Oh, and what are spare's/reliability like, as it's an import Mitsubishi will only have to stock 15% of spare parts (according to a mate in the trade)

Did search and found his post - however, he suggests a manual without AYC. A manual I can understand, but not the lack of AYC...???
 
ayc = 4000 mile services. so i can understand why not.
one of the many reasons an impreza makes a better day to day car than an evo.

So can I now, thanks. Is it really that little :eek: I'll be servicing 3-4 times a year!

Parent's have both got skoobies, so prefer a different manufacturer.

330 got nicked so sourcing a replacement, and need an estate. Thought a vr4 looked like a wolf in sheeps clothing (which appeals to me).
 
i have always liked them too, only seen them in estates though not sure if they do a saloon but the estate looks so mean :) Then i always have had a soft spot for sporty estates, Love the t5-r too :)

T5's are good too. Oddly considering a 3.2 V6 Omega Elite too (courtesy of mate in the trade, otherwise I'd have overlooked them) - just looks a bit, well, bland. But then that is what I'm trying to achieve. 3rd car I've had nicked too :(

the omegas aren't really in the same league are they? Also, from everything ive read about them they are money pits :)

the car runs fine without AYC, infact - if it should go wrong then the car just carries on as if it didn't have it.

lovely cars :)

Well, my mate is a farmers son. He did suggest a lexus too, but they're a bit slow. Legnum still winning, closely followed by the T5.

edit: Have you got a VR4 Hate?

they are excellent cars, i drove a legnum - the engine sounds lovely and it handles very well, but I wanted something a bit more nimble and "economical" (a twin turbo v6 is certainly not that) so i got the celica.

perfect workhorse - along with the subaru legacy 4cam
 
Just had a quick look at legacy's - might be a worthy contender as well. Have always prefered japanese engineering (330 was my first non-jap car). Although the last Subaru I had I crashed, but it was my first car!! My Dad was looking at Legacy's a while go, and he's a spirited driver like me, and a former Supersports racer, so there must be something in them. Don't see many around London either.

I have my 2nd one... this being a manual legnum, the previous a tiptronic galant.

Amazing machines.


Drive one (with boost raised if possible) and you will love it.
