Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Disjointed is a good description actually. We're enjoying it, just it a bit underwhelmed so far. Once the story is done and we start exploring and doing free play stuff hopefully it will come into its own.

I've not clocked up a lot of time yet, but if going on purely the mini kits, there's loads. Seems more space stuff than previous games, wish I could switch the thumbsticks though.

Really wanted to enjoy this, however I am finding that playing is just abit of a chore, completed the first 2 episodes and find that getting just the collectables is a lot of padding!

They've made Episode 1 better than the actual film so that's a positive... Any Jar Jar is still too much Jar Jar tho, even when they are trying to be funny.

Still blows my mind how Lucas could get it so wrong.

The Ep 4-6 levels are better than the Ep 3-6 ones so far (im half way through Empire), which isn't that surprising as the films 4-6 are clearly considerably better.

Lots of space combat as well which is fun, the Millennium Falcon is a beast as is the X-wing. :)

Are the prequel and original trilogy levels any different from what’s been released about ten times over already? They were gold but I don’t fancy doing the same thing again.

picked this up yesterday, only a little into episode 1 but enjoying it so far. not sure how much of the collectibles i will do, maybe finish a episode and then go back in?

so do you think its best to complete the story then go in for unlocks rather than searching for the ones i can get while i play? first lego game ive played in years and years

8ve amended to unlock quite a few things on first play.butitsuptoyouifyouwantto hunt for things. Also there are unlockable boosts that help you see where certainties are located on the level.

I've grabbed easy stuff along the way while playing the missions, enjoying going back in as other characters or using other ships.

Managed to unlock most of the stud multipliers so am currently on a x384 bonus, is insane the number of studs I'm getting now.... lol.

I’m largely enjoying it and don’t regret my purchase. It’s entertaining and visually captures Star Wars. It’s got some good dialogue too. I’m only on episode 2, although I’ve been side tracked more recently.

Do the story then go back, some collectibles need certain character types and also certain character skills that need one of the later levels to unlock.

I’m onto Episode 8, done about 60% of the galaxy so far. So much to collect and see! Playing as Jabba is definitely a lol moment.
