Lego!

and even used some of it the other week to make a model paint shaker.
That sounds interesting, can we have some more information on it please?

I got rid of some old hair clippers the other week, I was thinking or fitting a bit of metal to the bottom to extend the movement so it could shake paint. It would have worked but I didn't get around to it :D.

That's awesome!

Posted in the other thread . .

My nephew came over for the night and had a small bag of lego's and I built this today morning:

Shame we ran out :(

I have loads of lego, dont play with it any more I thought I would be too old!.

Last thing I built was a lego tower a year or so ago, was about 5ft 9 from top to bottom.

To the OP, that looks like a great model. LEGO evidently still making some good sets.

I still have the crossbow and it still works :D :

My son has masses of lego and the amount of fun he gets from it is unreal. Its the single most played with toy he has and will always go back to it after the latest fad has worn off. The latest thing is Indiana Jones and he has already been able to buy a few smallish sets. He couldnt afford the truck from raiders of the lost ark so we built one and its not far off the proper thing.

That lego bulldozer kit would certainly make a good tank if the right parts are added :)

loved building things with lego, always wanted one of these:

Had one of them ... and the next two generations of large lego technic cars which came after that :) If you go here then I had the three cars in the top left picture. The 8865 was really good. My Technics started off basically as 850-855 minus the helicopter :). I'd like a 8421 but can't justify the cost at the moment :(

Best Christmas I had though was getting 483 and 497

Had absolutely loads of the stuff, (reminds me I must rescue it from the parents loft). Looking around the house I think there's a modern lunar lander kit on top of the bookcase in the lounge and a small shuttle type space ship I built in one of the bedside tables .... ;)

When I mentioned earlier about the X-Wing, Tie Interceptor and Star Destroyer sets ...they are all the Ultimate Collectors Series ones not the smaller versions, (7191, 7181 and 10030 respectively) ... if only I could justify 10179
