Lehmann

He's as good as gone for me, as is Gilberto. Although Gilberto will be sold in the summer where as Lehmann could be gone in January IMO.

I feel a bit sorry for Gilberto as things haven't really gone well for him this season through no fault of his own. The warning sign for me was when despite being vice-captain last season (with the captain being sold), he was overlooked for the captaincy and was effectively demoted - not even vice captain any more.

He was then 'rested' after the Copa America which allowed the lines of Flamini to muscle his way in. Part of me wonders if that was just Wenger trying to protect his ego initially as he sought to freshen the team up a bit - in the same way he kept saying Lehmann was 'injured' long after he was back in training and the Germany squad.

Either way I still reckon Gilberto has a lot to offer the club in terms of his experience, physical presence and also the ability to slot in as an emergency centrehalf shouls Glass get himself injured again.

The one deciding factor of course could be the player himself, at his age he probably wants to be playing every week and the club may decide to cash in.

flamini has been superb this season, perhaps the most important part of the whole unit. would have been criminal to let him go this summer.

thing with lehmann is arsenal knew what they were getting with him, no chance to really improve but a good stopper to bridge the seaman era. his tantrums are in effect taking the decision out of wenger's hands, with the result the best outcome for arsenal anyway.

i would like to see carson given a go at a top team - he has world class potential for sure but just needs the chance to go in to a team that needs a number 1

Gilberto was awful in his first game back, i think he was playing at centre back. I've never seen him so sloppy on the ball, i thought he was out due to being rested etc. He certainly showed some drive last night and i think it's worth holding onto him as he's still a cracking player.

He technically was very good, and was a fine shot stopper. The trouble is that side of this game was put up with his temperament, which was terrible. Now that he made a few mistakes, I think it's time he left. Groom Fabianski under Almunia I think.

It will be a good day for Arsenal if Lehmann gets booted out, nothing more than a prize and arrogant tit imho. Always thought he was a liability and i never really rated him as a good goalkeeper...thought he was decent but thats about it.

Almunia i think has done a superb job of taking over as Arsenals No1 gk, made some stunning saves this season. Im hoping Fabianski will turn out to be the goalkeeper that we have been lacking for a few seasons now.

for entertainment value i'll be sorry to see him go which is inevitable now, but as a keeper his howlers at the start of the season + his attitude make it a no brainer.

I think Jens is a decent keeper although as other have said he is getting a bit past it now.

Despite what he may think, it isn't his decision who plays in goal each game and there's no way that he's going to win his place back by 1) trying to blackmail the manager or 2) slagging off the other keepers at the club.

Grade A fool in my book.
