-Cons: The edges next the the keyboard side flex, but only if you use a little force. I did this just to check the build quality, other than this its built very well.

I need to figure out how to enabled Turbo Boost on the i5 (didn't see an option in the BIOS). Will mess about with it more when I get home from work, but so far very pleased :)

What lid does she have? Lenovo laptops are the sex but I disapprove of shiny laptops  The classic Thinkpad rubberised finish is where it's at

Here's my mini video review. The camera doesn't focus well under low light but I talk a lot to make up for it haha

I have a question about laptop memory. The official Lenovo 4GB DIMMS cost £60, but I've seen Crucial 4GB DIMMs for £20. If I was to install the Crucial RAM will it still work as dual channel with the Samsung based 4GB module that came with the laptop?

Er even cheaper is the Kingston Value DDR3, I paid £16 for 4GB (£16.99 at the moment). The memory will work fine. If you are overy worried, pull the samsung and install 8GB (2x4) of Kingston for £35. Keep hold of the samsung in case you need to send in for warranty work but changing memory doesn't void warranty.

You don't need official memory. You think lenovo is bad HP was charging something like £135 for 4GB in mine.

Just buy 4gb try it, if it works great, if not then you can always get another stick.

What are the latencies on the Samsung?

Any option works out cheaper than buying stock lenovo stuff.

Although if you google your current memory code you should be able to buy it from a normal re-seller.

I'll have to look on CPU-Z when I get home and see what it says the part number is. As long as I get that part number I should be able to use dual channel. Is there anyway you can check if memory is running in dual channel mode?

edit: google states its M471B5273DH0-CH9 and costs £20 for a4GB DIMM, if that's the case I'll get it :)
