I have moved away from gaming and am looking to replace my 6 year old desktop with a budget laptop.

I will purely be web-browsing, saving images, watching the occasional DVD and uploading images from my mobile for viewing and simple editing.

My current system is ;

E8600 INTEL DUO 3.0GHZ
4GB RAM
460GTX

I'm looking for a laptop that will browse websites, images etc with the same capacity as my current system. I recall a few years ago my grandmother buying a cheap ASUS laptop from ASDA for £180 and out of the box it was so slow it couldnt handle saved images and viewing. This is what I want to avoid and do not know if all cheap laptops are like this ?

I have looked at the Lenovo G50, they seem to come with various different CPUs from different retailers, Which would best suit my needs ?

AMD Elite Quad Core A8-6410 2.4GHz 4GB 500GB
AMD Quad GC-4000 APU 1.3 4GB RAM 500GB
Intel Celeron® N2840 2.16 dual, 1TB 6GB
Intel Pentium N3540 quad core 2.16, 8GB RAM, 1TB,
Intel Core™ i3-4005U- dual 1.7, 4gb ram, 500gb

Thewse range from 219.00 - 299.00

I note that 4gb RAM upgrades can be had for £30.00....

Any thoughts or other suggestions ? will these laptops hold up ?
