Lenovo Ideapad issues

Hi,

I was using my Lenovo Ideapad the other day, then rebooted it... when I went to log back in my password wasn't being recognised. I've tried resetting, but saying it is incorrect when I know it isnt.

I've tried a factored restore, but it says it is unavailable. Will not let me do anything! It says the profile is offline. I've looked online, but cannot find a solution.

I'm wondering if the HDD has given up?

Hopefully somebody has some insight into this and can help.

Anybody? I've tried logging in through safe mode, but this didnt work either.

It feels like the profile is there to select, but the files arent in existence. Could this issue be a failed hard drive?
