Are you planning to connect via USBC? I don't think any monitor provides adequate power to not drain the battery whilst gaming.

Yes usb c. What about when not gaming?

Looks like it's only 10W which won't even maintain power at idle I wouldnt have thought.

Ok if I user power adapter and usb c cable to a monitor, can use the laptop whilst it's closed like macbooks?

No. I'd like to see people's set up. I intend using mine with a monitor at times. I was using KVM switch but it failed. Now I just swap cables. I but it takes up a lot of space. So I've bought a new bigger desk. But not built it yet.

I'll be buying one soon, should have some space for the air exhaust.

Was thinking of buying this monitor riser to tuck the laptop in. The top shelf will have the laptop and the bottom can have the battery brick. Should be ok for airflow?

I've got a dusty room and need a monitor riser to tuck the laptop under. Thinking between a wooden one or glass one. Anyone doing similar?
