Hey guys, im 2 weeks away from finishing my PGCE (YAY!) and im thinking of investing in a decent lenovo laptop for work.

My requirements and usage is:
-Content creation (PowerPoint, complex word docs, excel, simple video and picture editing etc)
-Battery life needs to be good but im never usually far from a charger
-Portability needs to be good but not x1 or MBA level
-Screen needs to be good size as i will spend hours looking at it

My spec based on this is:

So basically does this spec look decent value for money?
Will it cope with what im doing?
What are peoples experiences with the Thinkpad Edge E520 line?

Thanks,

Rob
